Satoshi Statue Stolen & Dumped in Lake.
A life-sized statue of Bitcoin’s creator Satoshi Nakamoto was stolen and trashed in Lugano, Switzerland.
Only the feet were left behind—the rest ended up smashed and sunk in a lake during Swiss National Day mayhem.
Turns out it was a group of drunk partygoers. The community is furious, calling it a disgrace.
A bounty was placed, and the statue was eventually recovered in pieces.
Now, there’s a petition to restore it—but the culprits still haven’t been caught.
