Huang Renxun announced the RTX5090 graphics card with "twice the performance of the 4090" and equipped with AI technology DLSS 4; Nvidia's big pump pushed Apple back to the number one position in market capitalization.

Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun announced the RTX 50 series graphics cards, including models such as RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070, at the CES in the United States. The new series will be gradually released starting from January and will adopt the new Blackwell architecture, significantly improving performance compared to the previous generation. The flagship RTX 5090 is equipped with 9.2 billion transistors and has a computing power of 3,352 TOPS, twice the performance of the previous flagship model RTX 4090. The RTX 50 series will be priced at $1,999 for the RTX 5090, $999 for the RTX 5080, $749 for the RTX 5070 Ti, and $549 for the RTX 5070. According to Huang Renxun, the Blackwell architecture combines AI-driven neural rendering and ray tracing technology, making it the biggest graphics innovation since the introduction of programmable shading technology 25 years ago. The new generation not only has powerful AI computing power but also improves performance through NVIDIA DLSS 4. In addition, Huang Renxun mentioned that the Blackwell chip has been fully put into production, and major cloud service providers have established systems, offering about 200 different models and configurations. Nvidia's goal is to build the giant chip Grace Blackwell NVLink72, which will use 72 Blackwell GPUs or 144 chips, surpassing the world's fastest supercomputer in performance. The announcement is expected to have a significant impact on Nvidia's stock price, with the stock rising 3.43% to $149.43 on the 6th, reaching a new all-time high and a market capitalization of $3.66 trillion, potentially surpassing Apple's current market capitalization of nearly $3.7 trillion to become the world's largest company by market capitalization.
