[Yuyuantan Tian: Investigating Potential Backdoors in H20 Chips] Yuyuantan Tian stated: Recently, there has been much discussion about the "backdoors" in H20 chips. Professionals indicate that functions like "tracking and positioning" and "remote shutdown" can be technically achieved. Following these functions, the author discovered that the U.S. had previously considered a whole systematic approach to the issue of "backdoors" in artificial intelligence chips. The U.S. side also specifically mentioned that if companies cooperate with the U.S. government to install "backdoors," the U.S. government could exempt them from export controls, which includes relaxing exports to "low-risk customers in China."
